During our trip I have seen a number of Eagles but only from moving buses or trains with no real chance to photograph them. This morning we visit a raptor rehabilitation park where I get to see them close up. They are magnificent when you do see them close up and it is good knowing some of these will be released back into the wild once they are over their injuries.
We spend some time exploring Sitka (population just over 8000). Then get a tendor back to the ship.
Just on the outskirts of Sitka we pass a non active volcano, famous as an April fools prop.
